Defining queues

Note that this information applies to queues for documents in general, compound documents, or batches (more information). A different type of queues is also available for invoices (more information).

To define queues:

  1. On the Configuration tab of the Administration module, expand Solutions and then the solution you are working with.

  2. Select Solution policies.

  3. In the right pane, double-click Queues. The Queues policy dialog is displayed.

  4. Click Add to add a queue to the list and give it an appropriate name. Repeat for additional queues.

    To delete a queue, select it and click Delete.

  5. Assign incoming images to a specified queue.

  6. Define a separate production task to process the documents in one or more queues.

  7. Define an output task which processes documents from all queues.
