Select ð Export definitions to export form definitions, set definitions, batch definitions, and tables to files.
Use this command:
Before you install a new version of FORMS. When you reimport the definitions and tables after you install the new version, they are automatically updated to the new version’s database format.
Warning: If you import a form definition that uses an edited character set from another installation of the program, you must first make sure to copy the edited character set to the Ehcharset.ini file of the installation you are importing to, or the settings will be lost upon import and the character set will have to be redefined.
To distribute definitions and tables to user’s workstations after you set up and test them.
For making backup copies of definitions.
Using the Manager, select ð Export definitions.
Click Browse in the resulting dialog.
Type a File name for the exported definitions or table, or choose an existing one from the dialog (which will then be replaced). FORMS gives the file name the extension .EHF.
When you select Forms, Sets, Batches, or Table, the available items of that type appear under Available.
Move the items you want to export from Available to Selected by clicking the buttons in the middle.
Since form definitions, set definitions, batch definitions, and tables can all be exported to a single file, repeat steps 3 - 5 for each category of information you want to export.
Click OK to export the selected definitions.
