For image, mark, character, object and barcode fields, you can specify conditions under which you want to type text and associate it with a form as a whole (rather than a particular field, as is the case with Field complement).
Only one form complement is allowed per form.
In a field definition, you specify under which circumstances you want Verify to prompt you to type the form complement. (Instructions.)
When verify a form that meets the criteria you specified, Verify displays the field that triggered the form complement, along with a dialog for typing the text into.
Whatever you type appears in the output for the form, if you add #Complement as a variable in the transaction description.
Do not create a form complement for an indexed field, as more than one field could activate the function, which is not allowed.
