Quantum multipunch and Quantum IBM multipunch are external formats that you can apply to field values that FORMS captures from fields. The usual case is to use them on mark fields or selection fields, but you can also use them on character fields.
The goal is to convert the values of multipunched indexed fields—series of indexed fields that have more than one filled-in (selected) field—to a multipunch format.

These three mark fields are defined in the form definition as a series of indexed fields (Choice[1], Choice[2], and Choice[3]). Two of the fields are filled in. You may want to convert the field values from such fields to multipunch format.
