The Configure XML file source and destinations dialog

Use this dialog to specify where the XML files are located and how you want FORMS to process them. This is only available if you are importing XML files.

Instructions

Important notes

Files of type

The type of files to be imported.

You can also specify a full file name or use the wild cards * and ? in accordance with Windows standards. For example, 6fb2*.xml causes FORMS to interpret all files with file names beginning with 6fb2 and ending with the extension .xml. Other files are not interpreted and therefore remain in the directory after interpretation.

Advanced

For importing XML files from subdirectories.

Always show configuration dialog

A configuration dialog displays the current settings when you start the Interpret job, and you can change them.

Source directory

The folder that contains the files to be interpreted. Click Browse to choose a folder. Required – do this before adjusting the items listed below.

Identified files

Select Move if you want FORMS to move all files with Identified status. Click Browse to choose their destination. The default folder is the source directory plus \ident.

Delete

Select Delete if you want FORMS to delete files with Identified status as they are interpreted.

Unidentified files

The folder to which you want FORMS to move all files that cannot be identified – that is, files containing forms that have Unidentified status after interpretation. The default directory is the source directory plus \unident.

Error files

The folder to which you want Interpret to move all other files – that is, files that have any other error status after interpretation. The default directory is the source directory plus \error. Files that FORMS moves to this directory either do not have a supported format or are damaged.

Log file

For logging information about interpreted images.
