If you choose to export form images during scanning, or if you choose to store forms to files, normally FORMS saves all of them to the Img folder.
In the Directories dialog you can override this default setting for specific jobs.
Click the Scan tab.
Click Directories.
In the Directories dialog, click Browse to choose a new default directory. The new default directory is valid only for the current job description.
The changes made in this dialog apply only to the location of form images, not field images. Field images are always saved in the directory specified for FieldImages in Ehlocal.ini.
When Always ask for default directory is selected, Scan asks you to indicate a new default directory each time you start the job (that is, each time you select ð Start, not each time you run the job). If the directory you indicate does not exist, FORMS tries to create it (max. one level).
You can select this option together with any other option in the dialog.
If you do not want all the images put into the default directory, you can have Scan create:
A new subdirectory in the default directory each every day
A new subdirectory for every job
A new subdirectory after a specific number of batches, sets or forms
Another option is to specify a desired location (not the one shown by default) in the Image file output directory box on the Export tab of the Job description dialog. Form images (and field images, if any) will be moved to the specified location during Transfer.
If the job is to be run in two or more Scan modules at the same time, take steps to prevent conflicting folder names.
Click OK twice to close the two dialogs. Do not forget to resave the job description.
