In Verify you can manually key in form information from, for example:
Paper forms that are too damaged to run through a scanner
Pages that FORMS cannot identify
Information received by telephone
You enter them into the workflow by filling them in manually.
The job description includes one or more individual form definitions (no batch definitions or set definitions).
Unidentified is selected as a form status in the job description. (Note: When Unidentified is selected and there no more forms with the other statuses are found in the database, you are asked if you want to create a new blank form for manual keying.)
Select ð Create a new blank form or press Alt+N.
If the job contains more than one form definition, you are prompted to select the one you want to fill in a blank form for. You can only choose from among those that were included in the job description. You make your choice in the Specify form def dialog.
Create filled-in fields on the empty form by typing values for each field as prompted. Click OK after typing each value or if you want the field to remain blank.
When the form is complete, all of the checks and controls associated with the form definition (external field validations, form validations, etc.) are applied to that form when you fill in the data. You must correct any errors that the program finds.
You are asked if you want to create another form. If you do, FORMS assumes that it is to be based on the same form definition. You can select ð Specify form def or press F12 to switch.
