Depending on how the system is set up, XBOUND stores data in three to five databases:
Required databases* | |
This is the main database. Production data from this database provides the basis of the Report Manager plug-in: Reports. You can also interpret the data using common analysis tools. that is described in | |
Contains information about your XBOUND licenses. See License Information plug-in for more information. XBOUND Installation Guide describes how to install the XBOUND License Service, how to apply a preliminary license file, and how to request and load a permanent license file. | |
Contains the XBOUND log. You can set up application-related logging. See also Log Explorer plug-in. This database also contains audit trail data, if that is activated (see Collecting audit trail data). | |
Optional databases | |
You can collect statistical data and save it in this separate database during the processing of documents. These statistics provide the basis several of the reports that are described in Report Manager plug-in: Reports. You can also interpret these statistics using common analysis
tools. ( | |
If XBOUND is set up to collect audit trail data, by default that data is saved in the logging database (see above). However, you can also save that data to this separate database for archiving. | |
Used by the RCC Knowledge Processing activity. |
* Note: The objects of these three databases are sometimes combined in a single database. See XBOUND Installation Guide for details.
Important |
---|
Data is not automatically deleted from the statistics database or the audit trail database. From time to time, old data must be deleted manually from these databases using an appropriate database maintenance program. See Deleting old data from databases. |
