Report Manager plug-in: Reports

Note: Do not confuse this plug-in with the SLA Report Manager plug-in.

Reports is one of the Report Manager's two sub-programs. Based on SSRS, it is directly linked to the report server and displays reports from the specified folder.

The following reports are included with your XBOUND installation. If SSRS is installed and configured (see XBOUND Installation Guide), you can set up the reports to display in this plug-in, and then view them. You can also configure your own reports in SSRS – see separate Help XBOUND Statistics Database.

Available reports

Backlog Report

Number of documents waiting to be processed, by client, process, and process step. Uses data from the main XBOUND database.

Under the table of data there is a graph that provides an overview of the same information.

Capture Statistics

Shows document capture results with a focus on field extraction. This report can serve as the basis for optimizing field extraction and Verification time.

Client

The names of the clients.

Process

The names of the processes.

Root + Sub-documents

The number of documents in the data set.

Sheets / Pages

The number of sheets and pages in the documents.

Verification Time (Hours)

How long it took to verify the root document.

Avg. Time Per Document (Hours)

How long it took, on average, to verify each root document.

Fields Captured (Total)

The number of processed fields with the Save history option (see Creating a field definition or Creating a table definition) that have an OCR value.

Fields Correct (Total / %)

The number/percentage of correct fields, based on:

Fields Suggested Correctly (Total / %)

The number/percentage of fields that had correct field suggestions (i.e. automatic validation was not successful, but during manual checking the user confirmed the value). Based on:

  • Field value from Automation = field value in Capture End Point process step and

  • automatic validation of this field (if used) provided an invalid value.

Fields Suggested Incorrectly (Total / %)

The number/percentage of fields that had incorrect field suggestions (i.e. automatic validation was not successful, and during manual checking the user entered another value). Based on:

  • Field value from Automation <> field value in Capture End Point process step and

  • automatic validation of this field (if used) provided an invalid value.

Fields Substituted (Total / %)

The number/percentage of fields that had field substitutions (i.e. automatic validation was successful, and during manual checking the user entered another value).

  • Field value from Automation <> field value in Capture End Point process step and

  • automatic validation of this field (if used) provided a valid value.

Detailed Capture Statistics

Shows detailed field capture results by document type. This report can serve as the basis for optimizing field extraction.

Process

The names of the processes.

Document Type

The names of the document types in the Capture End Point process step.

Field Name

The names of the fields in the document type.

Root + Sub-documents

The number of documents in the data set. (Not the sum of documents in the processes and clients.)

Fields Captured (Total)

The number of processed fields with the Save history option (see Creating a field definition or Creating a table definition) that have an OCR value.

The number/percentage of correct fields, based on:

Processing Report

Process based. Number of documents processed per client, process, and process step, and how long they took. Uses data from the Statistics database.

Click a process step to view an overview of the documents in that step.

To the right of the table of data there is a pie chart that provides an overview of the same information.

Under the table of data there is a graph that provides another overview of the same information.

You can change the daily report into a weekly report or monthly report by adjusting the date filters.

Production Summary Report

Summarizes document processing so that automatic and manual effort as well as capture quality can be seen field by field. This report can be used for BPO billing, as well as to determine how much effort was needed for manual processing.

For field data, ClosedVerification, OCR, and Automation are evaluated; acquisition of that data depends on reporting categories – see Configuring a reporting category. The data, which comes from the statistics database, is updated by the Agent for Reporting.

The number of hours during which the documents were processed in interactive (manual) processing steps.

Avg. Interactive Processing Time (Hours)

The average number of hours during which the documents were processed in interactive (manual) processing steps.

Fields Captured (Total)

The number of processed fields with the Save history option (see Creating a field definition or Creating a table definition) that have an OCR value.

Fields Corrected (Total / %)

The number/percentage of fields that were corrected, based on the sum of:

The number/percentage of fields that were confirmed, based on fields for which:

  • Field value from Automation = field value in Capture End Point process step and

  • automatic validation of this field (if used) provided an invalid value.

Overview Sheet Page Image

This report is an overview of the number of sheets/pages/images per client/process and document. Uses data from the Statistics database.

Root Documents

The number of root documents that were processed.

Empty Pages Included

The number of blank (empty) pages. (These are not excluded in the number in the Pages column.)

Sheets / Pages / Images

The number of sheets, pages, and images in the documents.

Sheet Page Image per Process Step

This report is an overview of the number of sheets/pages/images per process step. It uses data from the Statistics database. Unlike the Overview Sheet Page Image report, the this report includes only documents whose history is saved (the Save history setting in the Document Type dialog).
