The Edit Barcode dialog

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer.

  2. Under Process Navigation, click the desired process.

  3. In the Process area, click Process Design:

  4. In the Process area, create or open a Process Images process step.

  5. Add the Add barcode to image function, and then open it by double-clicking it.

  6. On the Barcodes tab, under Document types, click +.

Use these settings when configuring a process step that adds barcodes to images. You can select either Use fixed value or Field name.

Document type

The document type whose TIFF media is to be provided with the barcode.

Use fixed value

Configures a fixed value for the barcode.

Fixed value

The value of the barcode. Enabled when Use fixed value is selected.

Field name

The name of the field whose content is to be used as the value of the barcode. (Only fields defined in the document type are listed here.)
