SignDoc Standard

This topic describes changes in the SignDoc Standard behavior since the previous release.

Delivery of document audit trail

The document audit trails of each document will no longer be added as separate attachments to the main container document. Instead, audit trails will be added after the package audit information, as a combined audit trail for all documents with the document name for each audit entry listed in the Document column.

Final container contains a single audit trail document

The final container document now contains a single audit trail that combines all relevant actions during the lifecycle of the signature package, whether or not the action is on a document or on the signing package.

Personal Certificate option replaced

A new plugin interface to handle a client certificate on the client computer is introduced for SignDoc Standard. The "Personal Certificate" option in the advanced recipient settings for a signer has been removed and replaced with the new signature method "Personal certificates" that can be defined for a signature field.

Additional way to define list of Signing Client languages

You can also use the setting cirrus.config.locales to define the list of languages displayed for the Signing Client.

Creation of the final document when the availability of an external signing service is limited

Under certain conditions, external signing services or signature verification services are unavailable when SignDoc generates the final document. Effective with this release, the GET /rest/v8/packages/{packageid}/finaldocument tries to create the final document if is not available and if the package is already completed.

Consistent package status naming in Statistics view

The Statistics view now displays the package states Prepared and Voided instead of Created and Canceled, to use the same terminology when the Filter functionality is applied to retrieve more specific signing packages in the Manage Client.

Changes to the Finish button for the Signing Client

Once all the actions required by the user have been performed, the application moves the Finish button to the user-visible area. The Finish button is also animated.
