Performance impact during validation |
After deploying new batch classes and activating additional mailboxes, validation operations may experience delays of 10-15 minutes when processing batches. |
If the system becomes unresponsive, restart the Transact service to restore normal operation. |

Fuzzy database scheduling limitations in clustered environments |
In clustered environments, fuzzy database scheduling cannot be configured independently for each server. All servers may run fuzzy indexing simultaneously, which can impact system performance. |
Contact Tungsten Automation Technical Support for guidance on configuring the fuzzy database scheduler XML file in clustered environments. |

515745 |
Information disclosure vulnerability in Tomcat |
The system includes Apache Tomcat with the known information disclosure vulnerability (CVE-2021-43980). Engineering analysis indicates this vulnerability is extremely difficult to exploit in practice. |
Follow standard security best practices for server configuration and access control while a solution is being developed. |

Report purging performance impact |
The system may experience degraded performance during report data migration when the purge cron job processes large amounts of data between the report and report_archive tables. |
Contact Tungsten Automation Technical Support to obtain an enhanced purge script that improves data migration performance. |

Transact performance degradation due to large reporting data migration |
Long-running purge cron jobs can cause performance degradation when migrating large volumes of data from report tables to report_archive. Systems may become slow or unresponsive until the process is manually stopped. |
Obtain an enhanced purge script from Tungsten Automation Technical Support that optimizes large data migrations. |

OmniPage barcode processing limitation |
Advanced Barcode Reader using OmniPage may become unresponsive when processing images that exceed 8,400 pixels in any dimension. |
Turning off the Use Advanced Barcode Reader resolves the issue. For a long-term solution, contact Tungsten Automation Technical Support to obtain the updated OmniPageBarcodeJNIWrapper.dll, which resolves compatibility issues with certain image dimensions. |

PDF generation limitation with Cloud OCR |
The CREATEMULTIPAGE_FILES plugin cannot generate searchable PDFs when using the Advanced HOCR (Cloud OCR) plugin. When a searchable PDF is requested, the system uses the default OCR engine instead of the HOCR file created by the Advanced HOCR plugin. Note: The HOCR functionality works for Western characters but not for Asian characters. |
Contact Tungsten Automation Technical Support to obtain an updated dcma-imagick jar file. |
