Process batches with Knowledge Base Learning Server

Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server is a custom module that can be added to the list of queues for a Tungsten Capture batch class. Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server is typically placed just after Tungsten Transformation - Validation in the workflow.

Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server runs as an unattended module and is used to process documents that are marked as a Problem or for Extraction Online Learning in Tungsten Transformation - Validation. The Knowledge Base Learning Server also processes documents that were reclassified in Document Review or Validation and uses them for Classification Online Learning. Knowledge Base Learning Server stores sample documents for retraining in Project Builder and creates dynamic Knowledge Bases to improve the current extraction, and dynamic classifiers at specified intervals for classification.

When running as an application, Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server can be started either from the Windows Start button or the Tungsten Capture Batch Manager.

If started from Batch Manager, Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server processes the selected batch that is automatically closed when processing is finished.

If you run Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server from the Start menu the application immediately begins to poll for batches ready to process. If batches are ready for the Knowledge Base Learning Server, they are processed based on priority and creation date/time. The batch with the highest priority is processed first, and for batches that have the same priority, the older batch is processed first.

When you start Tungsten Transformation - Knowledge Base Learning Server using the Tungsten Capture Batch Manager, a batch may be locked by a Server running on a different computer or as service. Knowledge Base Learning Server processing starts when the current processing is finished.
