This topic describes the features and enhancements included in Kofax eFlow 6.1.0.

OmniPage OCR engine upgrade

The OmniPage OCR engine has been upgraded to version 22.0.0.3. With this upgrade, Kofax eFlow 6.1.0 achieves the following improvements:

  • Accuracy in text recognition

  • Support for Arabic languages

Enhanced eFlow stations logging

For the Scan, Recognize, and Export stations, the logging level setup has been improved to record more data about the runtime environment, which helps you debug issues related to the stations efficiently.

Security updates

The Kofax eFlow 6.1.0 libraries and binaries are updated to meet the security enhancements suggested by MEND. These updates help to avoid current known vulnerabilities without impacting any existing functionality.

MEND is a third-party software composition analysis platform that generates possible vulnerability reports for a software product. Kofax uses MEND to check the compliance of the product with a predefined IPR policy and its scan reports to enhance the security of the products.

Support for Windows 11

You can install and run Kofax eFlow 6.1.0 on a computer that operates on Windows 11.

Support for Windows Server 2022

You can install and run Kofax eFlow 6.1.0 on a computer that operates on Windows Server 2022.

Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2022

You can configure Kofax eFlow 6.1.0 to use Microsoft SQL Server 2022 as a database alongside the existing supported databases.
