These help topics are intended to offer assistance with Kofax Insight Studio after you successfully install Kofax Insight according to the instructions in the Kofax Insight Installation Guide.

Overview

Insight Studio is a web-based application used to build and manage dashboards. General steps for building a dashboard:

  1. Define your data sources.

  2. Create your records or metrics.

  3. Load data from your data source to the Insight records or metrics.

  4. Design your dashboard.

  5. Share your dashboard.

Use the Studio application to define and manage each Insight document that is needed for the dashboard. See the Glossary for explanations of the terms such as documents, metrics, records and more.

Start Studio

To start Studio, do either of the following:

  • Navigate to your Insight program folder and select Studio.

  • Open a web browser and navigate to:

    http://<server>/insight/studio

    where <server> is the name of your Insight server.

Login Credentials

If your credentials are required, you are prompted to enter them when you start Studio. Enter your user name and password that were specified during installation.
