Known issues

This topic contains information about potential issues that you may encounter while using Kofax Capture 11.1.1. Workarounds are provided, as applicable.

Error while processing batch in Recognition module

1871402: After uninstalling the Kofax Capture 11.1 Service Pack 1, the external *.rec files that were integrated to improve the recognition of hand-printed text, were restored and caused an error in processing the batch in Recognition.

Workaround: Manually delete the following *.rec files in the <Kofax Capture Bin>\OmniPage\bin folder or re-install Kofax Capture 11.1 Fix Pack 1.

  • hand_s_ch.rec

  • hand_s_fr.rec

  • hand_s_pt.rec

  • hand_s_ru.rec

  • hand_s_uk.rec

Some online help links not working

1788315: In the Administration and Batch Manager modules, the Help button does not always display the correct topic.

Workaround: When the online help appears, use the Search function to locate the specific topic of interest.
