Changes in behavior

If you do not use the AP Workflow then you no longer need to provide the following types of master data during the AP Data Import process:

• Work Breakdown Structures

• Cost Centers

A log is now written to %ProgramData%\Kofax\ApAgility\Log\erp_connector.log if there is anything to write to the log according to the current set logging level. This is set to ERROR by default but can be configured in the ERP configuration file under the <logger name.../> node. The log does not depend on the configured ERP connector application pool user account.

When performing an Kofax AP Agility upgrade the application pool user settings, including the domain and the user name are now restored automatically.

When performing an Kofax AP Agility upgrade form variants are now upgraded automatically.

A new engine that performs header group evaluation has been added. This new engine is used for extracting several fields in combination with the existing format locator approach. The results of both approaches are combined for greater accuracy.

The following improvements have been made to line item extraction.

• Improvements have been made to line item extraction when a line item description spans more than one line.

• It is now possible to parse the material number from the description for line item extraction.

• The extraction of the beginning and the end of line item tables has been improved.

It is now possible to configure what types of master data that you want to import. This is done through a set of import variables on Settings > Administration > Variables. When these variables are set to True then their data is imported. Set the variable to False to exclude the data when the AP Data Import process runs.
