Start a job manually
You can either start a job from a Dynamics entity, which will associate this entity with the job created, or start a job without an associated Dynamics entity.
Start a job without an associated dynamics entity
- From Dynamics CRM, click TotalAgility.

On the
TotalAgility
menu click
Start Job.
The Start Job page appears.
Note The category is set to Default Category. - On the list of processes, select the required process.

Ensure that the
New Job is selected.
Note To create a job on a case or case fragment map, that is, for New Case and New Job in Case choose the relevant radio button.
- On the top right section of the page, click Start Job.
- To create a New Case, select New Case radio button and enter the Case Ref and Initialization Parameters.
Start a job from a dynamics entity
With an associated Dynamics entity, you can set up the dynamics entity variable as an input or output to activities when starting the job and an associated link to the CRM entity appears on the Take Activity page. When you are editing or viewing a dynamics entity you can start a new job through the ribbon.
Create a job as follows.

Start Job.
The Start Job page appears.

- Ensure that the New Job is selected.

On the top right section of the page, click
Start Job.
A new job is started in TotalAgility and the details of the Dynamics entity, such as ID, type and URL are passed to the selected process.
