Configure the Keyword Direction
This option defines the direction of the keyword relative to the alternative. You can select from eight directions in a number of combinations. These include: W, NW, N, NE, E, SE, S, and SW.
W indicates that the keyword must be in the same line and to the left of the alternative; E means that the keyword must be in the same line and to the right of the alternative; the combination of W and E means the keyword must be in the same line, either to the left or to the right.
You can configure the keyword direction: by following these steps:
- Open the locator properties.
- On the Evaluation Settings tab, add a keyword or select one from the list.
- On the Keyword relation map, select one or more directions.
- To save the changes to the keyword, click Modify
- Open a test document and click Test to test your settings.
- Optionally, click Close to close the locator properties window.
- Save the changes to your project.
