Rearrange Locator Order in a Class

The locator order is important because a locator that relies on other locators for input needs be located below them in the Project Tree hierarchy. If a locator is not in the correct location, you can move it and your other locators so they are arranged as required by following these steps:

  1. Expand the Project Tree and select the class where the locator is defined.
  2. Optionally, view the class contents if they are not already displayed.

    The hidden class contents are displayed.

  3. Select the locator you want to move.
  4. On the Design tab, in the Edit group, click Move Up Move Up icon or Move Down Move Down icon to move the locator to the correct location in the hierarchy.
