Add a Text Content Locator Subfield
To use the Text Content Locator, first add a subfield that can be mapped to a field and then used for extraction.
When you first create a Text Content Locator, a default subfield called "Field0" is created automatically. You do not need to add a subfield until you rename and make use of the default subfield. Once you use the default subfield, you can continue to add Text Content Locator subfields by following these steps:
- Open the locator properties.
-
Click
Add to create a new
subfield.
A subfield is added to the list and the subfield name is editable.
-
Enter a descriptive name for the new subfield and press
Enter.
The new name is updated in the list of subfields.
- Optionally, add, rename, or delete other subfields.
- Click Close to close the locator properties window.
- Save the changes to your project.
