Create a business event

  1. On the Business Monitoring menu, click Business Events.

    The Events page appears.

  2. Click Create Creates an item.

    The Events - Create page appears.

  3. Select a category from the Select Category list for the business event.
  4. Enter a name and description in the respective boxes.
  5. In the Event Fields group, do the following:
    1. In the Field Name box, enter a name for the event field.
    2. On the Field Type list, specify whether the field is a single line of text or a number.
    3. Click Create.
  6. Click Save.

    The business event is saved and appears on the Events page.

Maintain a business event

  • To update an event field, select the field from the Field Name list against a Filter Value, and click Update.

  • Use the Operator to define the filter value.

  • To reset an event field, select the field, and click Reset.

  • To update a business event, click the event, make your changes, and then click Update.

  • To delete a business event, select the event, and click DeleteDeletes an item, and click Yes to confirm.
