Configure storage details for an export connector

If you use an Export activity in your process, configure the Storage details for the export connector. At runtime, documents are converted into images and exported to a folder in the format specified. Storage tab options may differ for different connectors.

  1. Setup an export connector. See Set up export connector for a document type.
  2. Click the Storage tab.
  3. Select the image format to use.

    TotalAgility supports the following image formats:

    • Single-page and Multipage TIFF with Group 4 compression

    • Single-page and Multipage TIFF with G31D compression

    • Single-page and Multipage TIFF with no compression

    • Single-page and Multipage TIFF with G32D compression

    • Single-page and Multipage TIFF with JPEG compression

    • Multipage TIFF with LZW compression

    • PCX PackBytes compression

    • BMP with no compression

    • JPEG with no compression

  4. TotalAgility supports the following file naming configurations to use.
    1. Storage folder: Specify the name of the folder where documents are stored after being exported.
    2. In the Custom File Name group, select one of the following options:

      • Standard file name: Specify a standard file name with a hexadecimal number.

      • Decimal-based file name: Specify a standard file name with an integer.

      • Custom file name: Map the Document Index Fields to document fields of the document and Kofax Capture Values to system fields of the document.

    3. In the Duplicate name handling group, select one of the following options:

      • Replace if a duplicate name is found.

      • Rename if a duplicate name is found.

      • Generate an error if a duplicate name is found.

  5. Click OK.
