Modify the properties of a process

You can change the following properties of a process:

  • Priority

  • Duration

  • Budget

  • Roles

    • You can modify members of the fixed roles assigned to a map.
    • You cannot modify the members of a fixed role assigned to a subprocess or an embedded process in the map.

  • Expected cost

  1. On the Administration menu, point to Processes and click View Process.

    The Processes page appears.

  2. Select a category, process and the map version.
  3. Click View Process.

    The selected map appears.

  4. View and modify properties.
    Name Description
    Summary of the job

    Information

    View the map properties.

    Priority of an activity

    Priority

    In the Priority box, set the priority level and click Update.

    Duration of the job that is open for

    Duration

    Modify the expected duration in days, hours, minutes, and seconds, and click Update.

    Budget of the job

    Budget

    Modify the budget and click Update.

    Cost of the job

    Expected Cost

    In the Edit Expected Cost window, modify the cost and click Update. You do not need to re-release the process.

    Floating role resources

    Resources

    Modify the members of a fixed role:

    1. Drag the required resource, group or role from the Available Resources list to the Selected Resources list.
    2. Click Update.
