Recover a job

You can try to reevaluate a job that has failed and has a status of Ready For Evaluation. The Recover action restarts the job evaluation from the point where the previous evaluation failed.

For example, if a dynamic resource variable assigned to an activity contains invalid data, the job evaluation fails because the system cannot determine which resource to assign to the activity.

  1. On the Jobs menu, click Find.
  2. Specify the jobs to recover:

    • To recover a single job, on the Actions column for the job, click Select, and click Recover Recover.

    • To recover multiple jobs, select the jobs to recover, and on the Actions list, click Recover Recover.

    • To recover all jobs, select the check box in the table header, and on the Actions list, click Recover Recover.

  3. Click OK to confirm.

    If the recovery succeeds, the job status changes to Active.
