Merge documents

When documents are incorrectly separated, you can merge the incorrect individual documents into a single document.

When two or more pages are merged into a single document, a new set of fields is created for the new document. However, any previously extracted fields are moved to the new document, but the location of these fields may not be correct. If necessary, you can review the field confidences to ascertain where a field is located. Any fields extracted via script may have a PageIndex of -1 in the XDoc.

You can merge documents by following these steps:

  1. Select several documents, while holding Ctrl, you want to merge into one document. Documents are not restricted to the same folder or folder level.
  2. From Edit menu, or the shortcut menu, select Merge.

    The selected documents are merged with the top selected document in the tree.
