Power PDF cloud

Tungsten Power PDF cloud adds a suite of browser-based functionality hosted entirely in the cloud. Power PDF cloud features are listed in the table.

Feature	Description
Generative AI with Copilot	Use Copilot AI features to enhance document production and design, similar to the features available in Power PDF desktop.
PDF viewing and editing	Open and view PDF documents to edit text, insert images, stamps, annotations, bookmarks, headers and footers, watermarks, page numbers, and other objects.
Typewriter tool	Add text anywhere in a PDF document hosted in the cloud, mirroring the same functionality as the desktop client.
Form filling	Interact with and fill PDF form fields, including all field types supported by Power PDF desktop, such as: Button Radio button Check box Text List box Combo box
Assemble, merge, and split documents	Modify PDF pages with functionality to insert, reorder, rotate, delete, and extract, as well as merge multiple PDF files into a single file, split and rearrange PDF documents into multiple files, and preview the number of pages contained in each.
Compress and optimize PDF documents	Compress and optimize PDF documents similar to the functionality from Power PDF desktop.
Commenting	Annotate the document for feedback or collaboration. Add and reply to notes and text remarks, use text markups, shapes, or stamps. Attach a file or audio file as a comment. Generate a new PDF document based only on pages that have annotations and comments.
Convert file types	Convert PDF documents to various supported file types, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images (JPEG, PNG, TIFF), or convert these file types back to PDF documents.
Collaboration	Edit the same PDF document across multiple users at the same time. Users can see what other users edit, add, or modify in real time as collaboration occurs together.
Cloud licensing	Obtain authentication tokens and provision licenses via the Tungsten Cloud License Server. User-specific data is stored in a cloud-hosted profile.
Third-party cloud-hosted storage	Host PDF documents on third-party platforms, such as Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive, as well as locally connected storage.
Local document storage	Open and save PDF documents from local storage.
Search features	Search a document with similar functionality to the "Search Multiple" feature in Power PDF desktop. This includes single or multiple word or phrase searches, fuzzy search, or the Looks Like Search (TM) Pattern. Custom search patterns are also available.
Sign & mark	Add checkmarks, crossmarks, lines, bullets, rectangles, and other text to create signature spaces, with the ability to group signature tools together.
Handwritten signatures	Utilize wet signatures and image stamps, drawing and storing signatures, as well as functionality to import images as signatures. Additionally, manage existing signatures to save, add, name, or remove signature profiles as needed.
Third-party e-signatures	Sign and send out signatures with DocuSign functionality, similar to what is available in Power PDF desktop.
Password protection	Protect a PDF document with a password, securing viewing and editing capabilities.
OCR functionality	Apply OCR to a PDF document and create searchable, highlightable text and determine the OCR language to extract this information.
Page numbering tool	Add page numbering to a PDF document, which includes functionality to: Select from pre-defined regions for page numbering to appear. This includes top left, top center, top right, bottom left, bottom center, or bottom right. Set margins. Set starting page number. Set page number format (similar to functionality in Power PDF desktop). Set font, color, size.
Open on desktop	Open content in the desktop version of Power PDF via the corresponding interface button.
Browser add-in	A browser add-in enables a supported browser to open a PDF document in the cloud directly from an already loaded page.

Microsoft Teams integration

You can integrate Power PDF with Microsoft Teams. Once added and installed, the Power PDF Teams app supports access control via a Power PDF cloud account. Users can directly edit PDF documents shared in Teams chats and channels.

Tungsten Printix MSP portal integration

Power PDF is available on the Printix MSP portal so it can be purchased, assigned, and downloaded. The integration also includes support for the Printix usage-based licensing and internet connectivity safeguards.

Accessibility

A host of accessibility features are added, including:

PDF/UA-2 Support: Gives you added support for the PDF/UA-2 file format, including the ability to open, read, or save to the PDF/UA-2 format.
Content panel tagging data: Use the Content panel to allow users to quickly see what type of content is being referenced when running accessibility checks.
Compliance Checker WCAG-specific checks: Use the Power PDF compliance checker to verify adherence to WCAG 2.2 level AA compliance policies.
