Copilot options

To set options for OpenAI services behind the Copilot feature, select File > Options > Copilot .

In corporate environments, administrators can manage and deploy the settings to a group of users through the Customization Kit and Group Policy Objects (Power PDF Advanced Volume only). For details, see the Network Installation Guide.

  • OpenAI : This section offers settings for your OpenAI subscription.

    • Key: Subscription key.
    • Model: The version of the OpenAI engine.

  • Microsoft Azure OpenAI: This section offers settings for your Azure OpenAI subscription.

    • Use Microsoft Azure Role-Based Access Control (Azure RBAC): Select only when it is required by your organization or team.

  • Find te rest of the settings in the Azure Portal under your Azure OpenAI resource.

    • Key: the API key used to authenticate Copilot with the Azure OpenAI service.

    • Endpoint: This is the URL endpoint through which your application can access the Azure OpenAI service.

    • Chat Deployment name: The name of the deployment configuration for the chat models you have set up in your Azure OpenAI service.

    • Embedding Deployment name: The name of the deployment configuration for the embedding models you have set up in your Azure OpenAI service.

    • Model: The specific model you are using within the Azure OpenAI service (for example, GPT-4, GPT-3.5).

      The model name is specified when you set up your deployments.

  • Check the Settings: Click this button to test the OpenAI settings.
