Install Tungsten Power PDF for Mac

Use this procedure to install Tungsten Power PDF for Mac on your Mac.

  1. Double-click the disk image (.dmg) file for Tungsten Power PDF for Mac.
    The Tungsten Power PDF for Mac window appears.
  2. Drag the Tungsten Power PDF for Mac icon onto the Applications shortcut icon. Wait for the copy process to finish.
    The Tungsten Power PDF for Mac icon appears in your Applications folder.
  3. Double-click the new icon (Power PDF for Mac icon) to run the application.

Power PDF for Mac requires activation. For details, refer to the Product activation section in the online help.

Upgrade Tungsten Power PDF for Mac

Users with Power PDF for Mac 5.0 installed should proceed with the following to upgrade:

  1. Start Tungsten Power PDF for Mac.
  2. Select Check for updates from the Application menu, lying to the right of the Apple menu.
    The Update wizard checks for available downloads and installs the latest version of the product.
  3. Optionally, click Log to open the installation log file.
  4. Click Close.
  5. Before running the new version you installed, remove the old application as described in Remove Tungsten Power PDF for Mac.
