Known issues
This topic contains information about potential issues you may encounter while using Printix. Workarounds are included, as applicable.

If the Personal Settings and Device Settings on a Canon printer are set to different languages, some parts of the printer's interface are translated to one language, and other parts to another. Workaround: Set the same language in the Personal Settings and Device Settings. |

After installing Printix Go on a Canon printer, the user is unable to immediately log in, and the printer displays the following error: Login failed. Workaround: Wait 60 seconds or press the printer's Reset button. |

| Printix Go Canon Capture | 706381 | If a user starts to scan a new document while a previously scanned document is still being processed by the printer, the printer may display the following error: Capture failed (N%). Reason: Printer is busy. |

During capture, if the user does not select any option for 15 minutes and the inactivity timeout on the printer is off, the screen becomes unresponsive and displays a Loading message indefinitely. Workaround: Restart the printer. To avoid this issue in the future, set an inactivity timeout on the printer. |

After installing Printix Go on a Lexmark printer, the printer's default sign-in method is ControlSuite if the printer has a Unified Client. Workaround: Change the default sign-in method on the printer to Printix. |
| Lexmark Unified Client | 571122 |
After uninstalling the Lexmark Unified Client, Printix Go is stopped. When attempting to start the Printix component on the printer's web page, the page displays the following error: There was a problem starting the solution: The application or one of its components failed to start because of an unknown reason. Workaround: Reinstall Printix Go. |

| Printix Go Canon | 514803 |
By default, Canon printers are unable to use the IPP and IPPS protocols. Workaround: Configure the printer to use the required protocols. See How to configure Canon printers to use IPP/IPPS protocol. |
| Printix Go Brother Capture | 452004 |
If a Brother printer that supports A3 (such as Brother MFC-J6957DW) attempts to scan an A3 page, it may produce an A4 image instead. Workaround: Update the device firmware to the latest version and verify that the scan settings are configured for A3. If the issue persists, refer to the printer's documentation or contact Brother support. |
| Printix Go Canon | 433412 | If a Canon printer is set to the Simplified Chinese language, the Latin characters have spaces between them. |
| OmniPage | 207110 | While scanning a large document, OmniPage may cause the capture process to fail without displaying an error message. |
| Printix Go Brother | 197424 |
During the installation of Printix Go Brother, the SNMP settings of the Printix Go sign-in profile are used instead of the SNMP settings of the printer. This can make the installation fail. Workaround: Do one of the following:

The Sign-in session expired message may appear if the username and password are not entered in a timely manner, or if one or both of them are incorrect. Workaround: Close the web browser tab and try to sign in again in a timely manner with the correct username and password. If you suspect your password is invalid, select Forgot password. |
| Printix Go Ricoh Capture | N/A |
Printix Go Ricoh Capture may fail when scanning large documents (reported with a 130-page document). This can happen if the network connection between the printer and the Printix Client computer is slow. In Printix Administrator History, you may see a message such as: Error: Capture failed (Processing and creation of PDF). Reason: Failed processing scanned files. |

Upon entering an invalid ID code or PIN code, the following message appears: (ec-204) Please try to reload the page or contact your administrator. Disconnecting a card reader does not remove it from the Printer properties page. |
