What's new

This topic lists new features and enhancements introduced in this Printix update.

  • For Printix Go Canon and Printix Go Lexmark, a computer with Printix Client must be online on the printer's network during the installation of Printix Go and during printing.

  • Printix Go Canon and Printix Go Lexmark are upgraded to support capture and workflow.

    • On Canon and Lexmark printers, capture can be used without the presence of the Printix Client.

  • Printix Go Lexmark can be manually installed and configured. These operations can be performed in bulk.

  • Printix Capture is updated for Printix Go Canon and Printix Go Lexmark to support continuous scanning.

  • Printix Client for Windows, Printix Redirector, and Printix Configurator have the following new features:

    • .NET Desktop Runtime 8 is no longer a prerequisite, because .NET is now embedded into these applications.

    • Windows Server 2025 is supported.

  • The Printix Client menu has an updated user interface.

  • Print release order controls whether the newest or oldest documents are released first from Print Later or Print Anywhere.

  • Capture SDK now supports API key-based security, enhancing integration with solutions such as Make.com and Azure Logic Apps.
