Specify database

Make sure you have an existing database to configure for ReadSoft Collector.

  1. Enter database server address in the Database server box.

    Alternatively, you can select the required database server from the drop-down list.

  2. Enter database name in the Database name box.
  3. Select Use Windows authentication \ integrated security to enable Windows Authentication. Once Windows authentication is enabled, you can use your Windows password to connect to the database server.

    Go to step 4 if you do not select this option.

  4. Enter the User name and Password to connect to the database.
  5. Click Test connection to check the database connection.
  6. Click Update COLLECTOR.ini to update the database details to the COLLECTOR.ini file.

Note COLLECTOR.ini is updated automatically if you use database with Kofax Invoice Automation.
