Creating an XBOUND process that uses Knowledge Processing

Prerequisites

• ReadSoft Capture Components (RCC) must be installed and configured. (See XBOUND Installation Guide for instructions.)

• You must import a solution from Capture Components Administration. The imported solution must have Knowledge Processing enabled. This is done using the Capture Components Administration module. See Capture Components Administration Help for instructions.

• You must customize the connections between an imported solution and XBOUND document types.

• Initially, you must start ReadSoft Knowledge Processing Service on the server where you installed it. After that, the service should restart automatically if the PC is rebooted.

To learn classification, the XBOUND process must contain these steps

The process steps must be in this order, and all steps must use the same solution parameter set. However, other process steps can be placed before or between these steps.

• Classification

• Inspection

• Knowledge Processing – needed if classification is to be learned online. (Classification can also be learned offline.)

To learn interpretation, the XBOUND process must contain these steps

The process steps must be in this order, and all steps must use the same solution parameter set. However, other process steps can be placed before or between these steps.

• Classification

• Interpretation

• Verification (RCF)

  In the parameter set, the Read result for rubber band setting must be set to ReadSoft Capture Components, and Support Knowledge Processing must be selected. See Capture Framework Help for information about Verification.

• Knowledge Processing activity – required; interpretation cannot be learned offline.
  

Note: Before you configure any process step, you must first:

• Add a Management Center console.

• Create a client.

• Create a process.
