Canceling a page

To exclude a page from further processing (for example, if it was scanned by mistake), you can cancel it.

Use this procedure:

  1. Select and open documents for editing.

  2. Using Verification, select the page that you want to cancel.

  3. Select Image > Set cancel flag on page

Note: Only the medium formats selected in the Verification activity will be canceled. Any existing additional media will not be canceled.

You can remove the cancellation flag by selecting Image > Remove cancel flag on page.

When are items with the cancellation flag actually deleted? This depends on how your XBOUND process is set up. You could use a process rule to get documents/pages with the cancellation flag and delete or export them. However, the items are not necessarily deleted but often simply ignored.

Note: This option can be disabled in the configuration of the Verification process step.

When you are done working in Verification, save the root document.
