Confirming a document

When you "confirm" a document, it is ignored in Verification for the rest of the session. The document is opened in the next session.

This option is mostly used to route a document. Normally routing is controlled by process rules (see XBOUND Help for details). However you can use this procedure to route the document even though its status Invalid.

An entire root document can also be routed.

1. Select and open documents for editing.

2. Using Verification, in the Documents pane, select the appropriate document.

3. Select Document > Deactivate document validation or Document > Deactivate root document validation.

   After you select Deactivate document validation or Deactivate root document validation, Document validation deactivated or Root document validation deactivated replaces it in the menu.

Note: These options can be disabled in the configuration of the Verification process step.

When you are done working in Verification, save the root document.
