Before you process documents (by running a production task), you must create and deploy a solution to the runtime system.
Whenever the solution is changed, it must be deployed again in order for those changes to have any effect on production. reprocessing them.
If you are deploying a new version of a solution that contains documents still waiting to be processed, you can move them to the new version byConfiguration data specified in the Invoice Manager and Invoice Optimize modules is saved directly in the Production database and as a result does not need to be deployed.
If multiple runtime systems are enabled, you must also create the runtime system and include the solution in the runtime system.
A solution can be deployed to more than one runtime system.
Plan and create the solution.
Ensure that no production tasks, services, or manual tasks are running.
On the
tab of the Administration module, click .In the right pane, right-click the solution you are working with and select
.In the , dialog
The system checks the data to ensure that no object is Stale or Incomplete, and that the production tasks and activities process all documents through to Output.
Older solutions no longer containing documents are automatically removed
If all activities are successful, the solution is ready to be used to process documents in the Production module.
If an error or warning occurs in one of the activities, an error ( ) or warning icon (
) is displayed next to the step in the deploy process. Double-click the icon for further information about any problem, which are described in Deploy warnings.
Clicking in the Production module updates the version number of newly deployed solutions. However, the Production module must be restarted before any changes take place in the deployed solution.
