Use the Batch definition dialog to create or edit batch definitions.
Access the dialog by clicking the Batch definitions object bar in the Manager:
To create a new batch definition, right click under the bar and select New.
To edit an existing batch definition, right click the batch definition and select Open.
Click Select form def to select form definitions that you want to process in batches.
Alternatively, click Select set def if you want to process a set in batches. Make your choice in the dialog that is displayed. If you select a set definition, the name is displayed in the Set definition box, and the form definitions it contains are listed in the Form definitions box.
Note: Individual form definitions and sets cannot be included in the same batch definition.
Specify the Batch size in the Batch data box. (See examples.)
Optional: Specify a batch prefix,
Optional: Specify an alternative batch start number.
Optional: Select Print batch report.
Click OK to save the batch definition. You cannot do this unless Batch size is 1 or more.
Select the batch definition in the job descriptions where you want to use it.
