Image fields are processed without any interpretation by FORMS. Use them to provide an image of data you want to manually type as a field complement or form complement (for example, address changes or handwritten messages from respondents) or as an image to support verification (for example, product names used to verify uninterpretable product codes).

An image field, since it does not consist of data, is not included in the output from processed forms. In addition, the image itself is erased when the data associated with the form is transferred. However, a transaction field for a field complement for each image field (&Fieldname) is included in the standard transaction description automatically. Delete the transaction field for such a field complement if you do not intend to use it.
Image fields are similar to copy fields.
