When images are transferred, you can have them converted to TIFF, MO:DCA. or PDF format. Use this procedure:
In the Transfer job description settings, click .
The Transfer job options dialog is displayed. Select which images to convert:
Exported images converts image files created by FORMS.
Imported images converts image files imported to FORMS (even if those files were originally created by FORMS, saved with the Store forms to files without identification option, and then imported).
Appendices converts images of appendices, as well.
Optional: If you used duplex scanning or imported image files that conform to the FORMS naming convention (with the file name of the front page ending with an even number, and the back page ending with that even number + 1), select Front & back in same file to convert both the front and back pages and save them to a file with the same name as the original front page.
If you do not select this option, the front and back pages are still converted, but they are saved in different files.
Optional: Select One set per file or One batch per file to save each set or batch to a single multi-image file.
Optional: Select Keep original file to keep the original image file in addition to the converted file.
Optional: Select Reduce file size to save smaller-than-standard files. This works on any of the supported file types.
In the File extension box, specify the extension of the new image files. Use one of these extensions:
PDF – exports files with PDF format.
TIF – exports files with TIFF format. Important: You must type "TIF", not "TIFF".
MDA – exports files with MO:DCA format.
The location of the files can be specified using the setting on the Export tab of the Job description dialog.
If you are processing sets, you can use the ExportImagesBySet setting in Ehglobal.ini to save one set per file, instead of one or two pages per file.
If you are processing batches, you can use the ExportImagesByBatch setting to save one batch per file.
