Use this dialog to set up the transfer process to suit the particular task.
To access the dialog, click Options in the Transfer job description settings. The below settings are available.
Tip: There are related settings on the Export tab of the Job description dialog.

Each record has its own length when FORMS transfers it, depending on the amount of data obtained from the material. |
|
|
FORMS pads the records with spaces to the size you specify, regardless of the layout of the transaction description associated with the individual forms included in the job description. If you specify zero (0), FORMS sets the size automatically to the size of the largest record in each transaction. |
|

Sets the ASCII type to Windows characters. |
|
|
Sets the ASCII type to DOS characters. |

If you used duplex scanning or imported image files that conform to the FORMS naming convention (with the file name of the front page ending with an even number, and the back page ending with that even number + 1), this option converts both the front and back pages and saves them to a file with the same name as the original front page. If you do not select this option, the front and back pages are still converted, but they are saved in different files. |

Saves all forms and/or appendices belonging to a set or batch in the same multi-image file. Without this setting, each form or appendix is saved to its own file. Tip: You can adjust the target directory in on the Export tab of the Job description dialog. |

Keep original file |
Keeps the original image file in addition to the converted file. |
|
Reduce file size |
Reduces file size by using JPEG compression when saving color and grayscale images. This works on any of the supported file types. |

The file extension of the new image files. Use one of these extensions:

Deletes forms and sets from the form database after transfer. |
|
|
Transfer waits for more forms from Verify instead of stopping when there are no more forms to transfer. (More info.) |
