Status: An overview

As soon as production starts, you start scanning forms (or interpreting them from image files), FORMS begins keeping track of them by assigning them a status. Each form has an form status, and each field on each form has a field status.

After Interpret, each form status is based on the lowest field status (that is, the worst error) on the form.

If you change FORMS’ default statuses to verify in a Verify job, you must keep in mind that a field or form with a low status can also contain errors of a higher status. This is why lower statuses must be processed before higher statuses – that is, worse errors before less serious ones.

You can use the Manager to find the quantity and status of all the forms in your FORMS database. This gives you an indication of how much remains to do in the Verify module. The statistics produced by Interpret and Verify provide related information.
