Ehcharset.ini
Ehcharset.ini contains character sets and other settings for interpretation of different languages. It also specifies which Microsoft Windows code page is used.
Default location: C:\Users\Public\ReadSoft\INVOICES
If you specified a different directory during installation, you can find the location by checking the GlobalPath setting in Eilocal.ini.
In order for Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices to be able to interpret a character that appears on an invoice, the character must be defined for the character set being used. The character set that Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices uses when interpreting invoices is specified in the Character set settings in the Invoice profile dialog.
The main initialization files (INI files) that are installed with Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices are in Unicode format instead of ANSI. Plug-ins used with Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices must take this into account if they read those INI files. If Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices finds an INI file in ANSI format, it converts the INI file to Unicode.
