Eilocal.ini

The Eilocal.ini file contains the settings for each individual workstation in a Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices installation. The settings are made during installation and normally do not require manual changes.

Default location: C:\Users\Public\ReadSoft\INVOICES

Kofax scanner settings and ISIS scanner settings were previously found in Eilocal.ini. Settings in those two dialogs override any settings that still exist in Eilocal.ini from previous installations.

The main initialization files (INI files) that are installed with Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices are in Unicode format instead of ANSI. Plug-ins used with Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices must take this into account if they read those INI files. If Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices finds an INI file in ANSI format, it converts the INI file to Unicode.
