Use this procedure to automate Interpret and Transfer.
Using Manager, select Administration > Services. The Services dialog is displayed.
Click Add to schedule a new service. The Service dialog is displayed.
Specify which computer to run the service on.
Select which module to run.
Select an existing job description.
Set when to start the service.
Set when to stop the service. (Any invoice currently being processed is finished first.)
Specify how many seconds (if any) to pause between jobs running on the same computer.
Click OK to close the dialog.
Change the Windows account for the service (network installations only).
By default, the Local System account is used for Interpret and Transfer services. However, this account does not have the permission to connect to the other computers in your INVOICES installation (such as the one where your scanned images are stored). You must change the account to another one that can connect to these computers:
Open the Services application in Windows.
Open the Properties for the service.
On the Log On tab, select This account and enter the relevant user name and password.
Important when running Transfer as a Windows service: Ensure that Append to existing file is selected in the Output settings (Transfer job description). If Append to existing file is not selected, the transfer file is overwritten each time the job starts.
Repeat the steps above for each Interpret and Transfer module you want to automate.
Restart the computer.
Start the service on the computers that run the modules you want to automate. For example, if you want to run Interpret as a service, start the service on the computer that normally runs the Interpret module.
