Enable spell checking

Enables spell-checking of text fields in the documents that you are verifying. This is particularly useful when you verify documents that are not in your native language.

Options

Opens the Spell-checking options dialog.

Enable Autoload ToggleToggles the display of the tool in the status bar that controls the autoloading of tasks in Verification.

Automatic root document selection

If selected, a root document opens automatically when you start Verification. (Then you do not use the Document Manager to select which documents to process.)

These options are available for deciding which document to automatically open:

  • Select next root document of last process step: The system opens the root document from the same process step that you worked on previously in Verification.

  • Select next root document using XBOUND sequence: The entire XBOUND system is scanned for documents, and the system opens the next root document in line to be processed.

  • Select next root document using custom component: Here you can select your own component (DLL) that controls access to documents. If the component is found and meets XBOUND interface requirements, the Configure button becomes active. Click it and configure your component.

Note: If users assign a high priority to documents, those documents are opened first.

Hide read result overlay if the field changes

In Verification you can select Image > Show read results to see the read results instead of the image. You can also click the corresponding button in the toolbar:

This option determines what happens to the overlay when you move on to the next field by pressing Tab or Enter:

  • If Hide read result overlay... is selected, the overlay is hidden, and no more read results are displayed on the image until you select the option again.

  • If not, the overlay is displayed until you select the option again to turn it off.

Reset scroll position if the document changes

By default, the most recent scroll position for each viewer, document type, and process step are saved in your user settings, and new images are displayed in that position when first displayed. This option disables that feature, and the system opens the image at the top-left scroll position.

Outline field zone only

The field area is not highlighted. The Field zone color is then used only to outline the field area.

Border width

If you selected Outline field zone only, specify how many pixels wide the border should be.

Field value color

The color to highlight the field value with in the image viewer.

Field zone color

The color to highlight the field area with.

Reset colors

Resets the colors to their default settings.
