Enabling spell checking in Verification

Spell checking of text fields can be enabled either in the Verification process step settings or during Verification.

Note: Spell-check settings specified via the process step take precedence over operators' spell-check settings.

To enable spell checking in the process step

  1. Save spell-check settings for reuse in Verification process steps.

  2. Select Use process-level spell-check options in the Verification settings, and specify the name of the settings to use in that step.

To enable spell checking during Verification

  1. Select Options > Settings.

  2. In the Settings dialog, select Enable spell checking.

  3. Underneath, select which language the documents are in. ClosedAvailable languages:

    • Dutch

    • English

    • English-AU

    • English-CN

    • English-UK

    • English-US

    • French

    • German

    • Portuguese-BR

    • Portuguese-PT

    • Spanish

  4. Optional: Click Options to adjust your preferences in the Spell-checking options dialog. (Click the link for a description of the options.)

Note: The ability to add words to the custom dictionary (by user) can be granted or denied. For more information please refer to "Predefined privileges" in XBOUND Help.
