Tip: After installation, the Configuration Wizard is available.
Add an XBOUND Management Center console and add a plug-in to the XBOUND Management Center. Then add a plug-in to a console.
XBOUND Platform Service uses configuration settings to connect to the XBOUND database and the logging database. Configure XBOUND Platform Service.
The configuration settings for XBOUND applications are stored in a common configuration file. Configure settings that are common to all applications and all users or configure settings that are specific for certain applications. You can also create a central configuration file in which you can configure settings to be managed commonly for several computers; this option is ideal for bigger XBOUND environments.
Set up logging. You can also activate audit messages and collect statistical data.
Processes are a vital part of XBOUND. To start, create a client and then create a process. You must also add activities to the Process Designer (these activities are used in process steps) and assign activities to the Activities Service. Then add process steps to a process, specify the process flow with process rules, and configure the process steps. When the process is complete, activate it.
Add and configure a collector. Collectors carry out specific tasks related to importing documents.
Add a system agent and then configure it. System agents carry out certain actions related to maintaining the system. You must also assign the system agent to a System Agent Service.
Optional: Control which actions certain users or groups can perform by assigning them privileges or assigning them rights.
