Note: You must set up logging before any log messages are displayed in the Log Explorer. Specifying which types of log messages are saved is part of that process.
To display audit messages, you must also activate audit messages.
Every log message is assigned a level that reflects the importance of the message. You can display log messages of a certain level by clicking the appropriate button.
These log level options are available in the Log Explorer (in order of importance):
An event has occurred that has caused a significant task to fail. Eliminate the reason for this error as soon as possible.
A condition that does not prevent the execution of a task but should be checked.
The message contains important information about the status of a task or a module.
Detailed information about the status of a task or a module. Used primarily for troubleshooting. These messages do not need to be checked daily, and they are hidden by default, as is the button. See Displaying debug log messages.
Only audit messages are displayed – and only if you activate audit messages. |
