Adding documents by rescanning

If documents are scanned incompletely or missing entirely, they must be added by rescanning. Use the following procedure. (If the documents are present but the image quality is not sufficient, use a different procedure.)

Note: You access XBOUND Rescan from within other applications. This procedure assumes that you are using Document Verifier.

  1. Click Insert new sheet ().

  2. Press F6 or click the Start new scan icon (). Scanning begins, using the current scan profile.

    Alternatively, press F7 or click the Start new scan with scanner dialog icon (). The scanner settings for the connected scanner are displayed. Any changes you make are used this time but are not saved for future use.

  3. For each newly scanned image, click Front if it was a front page or Back if it was a back page.

  4. Select File > Save and exit to save the images in XBOUND.
