Rescanning documents in XBOUND Rescan

If the quality of scanned documents is not sufficient, replace them by rescanning them. Use the following procedure. (If documents are scanned incompletely or missing entirely, use a different procedure.)

Note: You access XBOUND Rescan from within other applications. This procedure assumes that you are using Document Verifier.

  1. Select the images for rescanning.

  2. To access XBOUND Rescan from within Document Verifier, click one of the Rescan buttons, Rescan current sheet or Rescan selected medium:

  3. The images that you selected for rescanning are displayed in the Original Images area on the left side.

In the Original Images pane, click the Info tab to specify the resolution and format for rescanning.

  4. Press F6 or click the Start new scan icon (). Scanning begins, using the current scan profile.

Alternatively, press F7 or click the Start new scan with scanner dialog icon (). The scanner settings for the connected scanner are displayed. Any changes you make are used this time but are not saved for future use.

  5. The scanned images are now visible in the Scanned Images pane. Click the image in Original Images to assign the image that is displayed in the Scanned Images pane.

  6. Repeat the previous step until all scanned images are assigned.

  7. Select File > Save and exit to save the images in XBOUND.

When you are done working in Document Verifier, save the document.
